Paint Shop Pro is one of the best graphic software programs out there for the price. PSP is my choice in graphics software for my linkware creating. There are tons and tons and tons of tutorials out there that will help you from the time you open up the program and those that will follow you through to when you become more advanced.

There are also quite a few sites/groups out there that cater to the PSP crowd. Two of the most popular are PSPIZ and PSPUG. There's also a newsgroup that can be found at comp.graphics.apps.paint-shop-pro.

As mentioned, there are tons of tutorials out there, here are just a few to wet your whistle:

Tubes

Tubes are PSP objects that have no background, therefore the image can be placed on any background and look superb. Tubes are wonderfully fun, however they are also very controversial. Why you ask? Because people are tubing things they shouldn't. Tubes should not be created from images that are not your own. For example you love Precious Moments so you take one of the many images available from the net, remove the background and create a tube from it and then redistribute it. Sorry but that is illegal! That image was not yours to begin with to alter in any way shape or form and therefore you have no right to redistribute it.

Templates

So what are PSP templates? Templates are PSP files which will help you create your own buttons and bars. That's right, even those that think that they could not possibly create their own web site graphics now can! Well at least buttons and bars :)

Tutorials

So you've downloaded a set from me (or someone else *g*) and you want different buttons than those supplied. What do you do? Well go download Paint Shop Pro and follow either one of these tutorials depending on what version you are using: PSP v6 or PSP v7.
